Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of ClassRoots, a school operating platform provided by Aadyash Technologies Private Limited (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the apps or portals, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use ClassRoots: ClassRoots is provided to schools and, through them, to their staff and to the parents of enrolled students. Schools are responsible for authorising the staff and parents who access their data. You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.

2. The service: ClassRoots provides communication, attendance, fees, scheduling, exams, and related school-management features. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

3. School responsibility for data: Each school controls the student, parent, and staff data within its account and is responsible for obtaining any consents required by law before adding people to the platform. We process this data on the school's behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Payments: Fee payments and wallet transactions are processed through our payment partner (Razorpay). We are not a bank and do not store full card details. Payment disputes for school fees should first be raised with the school; platform or billing issues can be raised with us at support@classroots.ai.

5. Acceptable use: You agree not to misuse the platform — including attempting unauthorised access, uploading unlawful or harmful content, disrupting the service, or using it to harass others. We may suspend access for conduct that threatens the platform or other users.

6. Intellectual property: The ClassRoots software, brand, and design are owned by Aadyash Technologies Private Limited. Content you or your school upload remains yours; you grant us the limited rights needed to host and display it within the service.

7. Availability and changes: We may perform maintenance, update the apps, or change these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the updated “Last updated” date. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

8. Limitation of liability: To the extent permitted by law, ClassRoots is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Termination: A school may stop using ClassRoots at any time; parents and staff may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or where required by law.

10. Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
