What a school actually pays
Most school software in India will not tell you the price until someone has been to see you. Here is ours, in full. One price per school per year, every module included, and nothing to pay until 31 March 2027.

The first ten schools to join get this price locked for three years — the same complete product on the standard plans below, at a founding rate. We are doing this because ten schools using ClassRoots properly is worth more to us right now than ten times the revenue. When the ten are taken, this ends.

Monthly billing carries roughly a 20% premium over paying annually. The per-student figure is the annual price divided by the top of the band — a school in the middle of a band pays less per student than the number shown.

Not a limited trial — the whole product. Run a full term on it: admissions, a fee cycle, exams, results. Billing starts with the new session, so you decide after you have seen it work through the part of the year that actually matters.
Questions about price
- How is ClassRoots priced?
- Per school, per year, in five bands by enrolment — not per student and not per module. A school in a band pays that band's price whatever it uses. Working it back to a per-student figure gives ₹2.92 to ₹6.25 per student per month, and the rate falls as the school grows.
- Why price per school instead of per student?
- Per-student pricing punishes a school for growing and tempts it to put only part of the school on the system, which is how an ERP ends up half-used and abandoned. A band price means the whole school goes on from day one and the bill does not move when enrolment does.
- Which modules cost extra?
- None. Fees, payroll, attendance, exams, admissions, circulars, parent-teacher messaging, the owner's P&L dashboard and the parent and staff apps are in every tier, including the smallest. There is no module upsell and no per-feature licence.
- What does free until 31 March 2027 actually mean?
- Full access to everything, with no credit card, until 31 March 2027. Billing starts with the new academic session, so a school can run a complete term — admissions, fee cycle, exams and results — before it pays anything. If it does not work for you, you leave with your data.
- Is there a setup or onboarding fee?
- No. Onboarding, data migration and staff training are included in the price. Same-day setup.
- What happens if our enrolment crosses into the next band?
- You move to the next band at renewal, not mid-year. Nothing stops working and no charge appears part-way through a session.
- Can we get our data out if we leave?
- Yes, at any time, in CSV and JSON, without asking anyone. It is your school's data.
